The WYEC Church Leaders share in many public events together. They have issued public statements on a Christian response to issues of public interest including the plight of asylum-seekers, to racism in politics and to concern for the victims of cuts. These occasions are a visible sign of unity.

The fellowship of the Church Leaders goes much deeper. It is nurtured by the Northern Church Leaders’ Retreat, the WYEC Church Leaders’ residential meeting and various other shared activities. New Church Leaders are immediately welcomed and made to feel part of and supported by the group.
